Fred Hardy Subdivision
Fred Hardy Drive has been named after one of the first lease holders of Mount Bundy station which was also one of the first pastoral leases issued in the Top End of the Northern Territory it was established in 1911.
They were brothers Frank and Hubert Fred Hardy, colourful and infamous Buffalo hunters. Hardy led a tough life hunting buffalo on horseback with a team of aboriginal stock-men and women and processed the buffalo for the lucrative hide market in Europe.
This subdivision offers a unique diversity of blocks - from weathered escarpment country to wet season flood plains with an abundance of bird life including nesting Brolgas and Jabiru's!
Currently there are five parcels remaining and they are only a short distance from the historic township of Adelaide River southward bound on the Stuart Highway.
Suitable for a range of uses - from weekender/permanent wilderness retreats to hobby farm/commercial pursuits.
